Oh that's interesting . Wow, didn't think of it like that before . That's a good point . . . Thinkers like us, we love connecting dots. We love insights, a different, novel, and interesting perspective. In our hearts and minds we hunger for ideas. Thinking is our blood and our drug. But what's the point? There are probably millions of articles full of incredible ideas. Yet what has come of it all? What has come from this collective externalised thought? It's hard to tell. And that in and of itself is our cruel reminder. If there is no end to our means it will surely evaporate and fade away. Forgotten brilliance. Wasted light. This is why I think we must always try to ponder in a direction, towards a goal. Always try to map idea to action. Carve thought to reality. Perhaps there is a method to this that we will have to figure out. A way to store intellectual progress. As of now it's all a haze. Progress is made in the minds of individuals and by chance alone it spreads to others capable of continuing it. There must be a better way. A unified way. I hereby make the commitment to try. And that is why I resonate with pragmatism. Pragmatism gives us a way out because it is based in one reality, our reality. Results are the feedback from the world we all share, and if we can find a way to eternalize it, well, perhaps it won't all go to waste. To answer the big questions. # ============= 2025-03-17: [[Means to an End 0.1]] (C)(P) [[Means to an End (Notes)]]
