I have endless ideas in my mind, and the speed at which ideas are generated and augmented is extremely fast. Yet, these ideas only exist in my own mind. To get them out of my mind, I have to communicate it somehow. The act of communicating an idea I will name "pulling", as it feels like I am pulling a copy of my idea out of my mind and into reality. Pulling is a bottleneck. Pulling a complex idea into reality is not trivial. It is a skill, and there are different ways to implement this skill. Speaking is one. Writing is one. Writing in a specific format is another. Each implementation has their own speed, precision and end result, relative to each person and their current level. [[My Writing Methodology]] is one method I have found that increases the speed at which I can pull my thoughts. This speed increase is mainly due to its ability to destroy perfectionism. And yet I need to practice, as even this method is extraordinarily slow. The end goal is to be able to pull ideas into reality at speeds that match the speed of thought. No doubt a goal that is achieved through practice and [[External Cognition]]. But of course, it's never that simple. That act of pulling actually modifies, and often improves, the original thought. And there is definitely benefit in that, but this current conceptualisation just focuses on the communicating of the thoughts. I mean, just because pulling helps thinking, doesn't mean that it is the goal. If it was the case that pulling didn't help thinking, we would still do it. # ============= [[Pull into Reality 0.1]] [[Pull into Reality (Feedback)]]
